mit der Katalognummer 11. Auf unserem Label Basspräsidium

starten wir damit eine Compilation-Reihe Kölner Elektronik-Musiker,
teils alte Basspräsidium Hasen, teils Neuzugänge.
diesmal sind die versammelten Tracks dem Genre Dubstep zuzuordnen.
heisst: Bassmusik mit satten beats. der Bogen wird dabei aber
weit gespannt,
von grimey und wobble über technoid bis chillig.
alle sechs auf der Platte vertretenen Künstler sind heute
Abend anwesend
und werden je eine halbe Stunde aus ihrem Repertoire aufführen.
den Tonträger gibts zum Schnupperpreis,
es wird Brause und Gersten-Schorle angeboten.
danach wird gemeinsam mit den Bassliebe-DJs gefeiert bis das Labyrinth
kracht.

Dubstep made in Germany
Electronic dancemusic has prospered and diversified the last decades.
While in Germany Techno and House music have been the apparent
dominating genres appreciated by the clubbers, Breakbeats and
D`n`B just got particular attention. Dubstep makes a change and
gathers Breakbeat and D`n`B heads, just as HipHop and Reggae socialized
blokes and Techno lovers.The media hype on what-so-called Dubstep
is not over yet, rather it is still growing. While established
media is following the newest step, the most djs and large parts
of the audience on a night would more likely cheer up to a ravy
and dark halfstep sound, while a more garage or four-to-the-floor
orientated tune will keep them dancing in the dawn.
This compilation wants to present some people out of the german
dubstep scene.
This compilation can`t and doesn`t want to claim the representation
of all the variety produced in Germany.
But it wants to show that there are some people for which the
production of tunes is a big part of their passion in supporting
the emergence and rooting down of sustaining structures for low
frequency music.

- Colours of the Jungle @ Kolbhalle
Unter dem
Motto "colors of jungle - 3 days of style, beats and BBQ"
werden Ende Juli die altgedienten Hallen der ehrenfelder Kolbhalle
von einem hochkarätigen Kollektiv aus DJs und Streetartists
mit viel Farbe und Sounds kunstvoll & kreativ verschönert.
Damit steht ein ganzes Wochenende im Zeichen der urbanen Kunst,
wenn von Freitag bis Sonntag die Aussenfassade der Location von
15 nationalen Streetartists und Writern von Berlin bis Frankfurt
ordentlich gerockt wird.
Begleitet wird das Spektakel von den renommierten dub und drum
n bass residents Kölns, von Bassliebe bis Jungle garden die
auf support aus Leipzig und Australien treffen werden und zu später
Stunde die writer - action in ein musikalisches highlight inklusive
live - visuals verwandeln. Für das chillige Publikum gibt´s
ganztägig BBQ und lässige sounds.
