 Dexter
Dub is a Producer, DJ and Remixer from Cologne, who is since 1997
on a constant journey through sounds always looking for a new
kick. He started as a Hip-Hop-DJ or Turntablist (DJ I.R.S. ONE)
and at the same time his vinyl collecting addiction began.
So
far he has been digging, buyiing and playing through different
styles, such as Dubstep, Jungle, Drum n Bass, Mash-Up, Hip Hop,
Reggae, Dub, Dancehall, Big Beat, Electro, Soul, Funk, Disco,
Beat, Jazz and World Music.
At
the moment his special passion is about Dubstep, Dub, Reggae-Drum
n Bass, Ragga-Jungle and Mashup-Drum n Bass (mixed with the genres
Hip Hop, Funk, Electro and Pop).
He
is especially known for his dubwize Dubstep or Ragga-Jungle Sets.

At
the Nippes Home Productions Studio
he produces since 2001 his own tracks, mixtapes/-CDs, versions,
mash ups, tunes and remixes with different MCs or he works with
dubplates.
2008 he released
his firs vinyl 12" "Behold"
and 2010 his first album "Dexters
Dub Dimension" at Basspräsidium Records/Cologne.
To the first two compilations of the Heidelberger netlabel Subbass
"Subbass - Dubstep made in
Germany" and "Subbass
2 - More Krautdubs" he contributed one song each and
together with AC Akut you can find him on the first Basspräsidium
Compilation and the 7th Jülich
Sampler (under the aka I'n'C).
He
performs live sometimes with vinyl, but mostly with laptop, midi-controller
and a dub-siren. The tunes he plays are either produced by Dexter
Dub or rare pieces digitalised from the original record. All tunes
are digitally remastered and get remixed live within the show.
Dexter
Dub does now often perform live together with AC Akut. He accompanies
him with on the Didgeridoo, the laptop or with percussions.
For many of
his tracks he has been producing his own videos, more about it
